“Interconnectedness: Nothing Else Matters”

Wednesday, May 22, 2024 (Private/Phone)

Participants: Mary (Michael) and Lynda (Ruther)

(Excerpt begins partway through session)

LYNDA: Anyway, it was a great group session. I didn’t… I think… (Exhales) The reality of what’s going on in the Middle East is sobering, but it’s motivating to stay present and take care of business – because that’s what you do. You don’t have doom and gloom.

ELIAS: And that’s the encouragement, is to be present and to move in a different direction. Move in a direction of interconnectedness, rather than a direction of hate and separatism.

LYNDA: This just doesn’t apply to wars.

ELIAS: No, it does not.

LYNDA: You’re not talking about interconnection with nice people only. You’re talking about acknowledging interconnection with everybody.

ELIAS: Correct.

LYNDA: And not feeling threatened. There is a process. Yeah.

ELIAS: And the reason that there is so much pushback.

LYNDA: (Whispers) Yeah. Nobody wants to do it.

ELIAS: This was never going to be easy.

LYNDA: (Laughs) That’s true. We said this would never be easy. I think I must have said that to somebody before I was born: “This was never going to be easy. Bye!” (Elias chuckles) Okay, well, we’ll do the best we can, together.

Okay, I know people have asked you this, but I suddenly would like to hear your definition of interconnection.

ELIAS: Interconnectedness is (pause) what you are. And it’s a matter of becoming AWARE of what you are, because you ARE interconnected in every capacity, with every thing, including yourself and all the different aspects of yourself. But now it’s a matter of becoming aware of all of that. That’s the situation now, is that people are not aware of the interconnectedness that they have and that is part of them, that is part of who they are.

Everything is interconnected. Everything is part of one vast, never-ending whole. And that whole is consciousness, and everything is a part of consciousness.

People are becoming more aware as they become more self-aware. Because the more self-aware you become, the more you become aware of your OWN interconnectedness within yourself, which many people don’t see yet. And then it’s a matter of knowing that you’re connected with everything else, whether you like it or you don’t like it, whether you agree with it or you don’t agree with it. It doesn’t matter. Those pieces don’t matter. You’re still connected. You’re still intertwined. You’re interconnected.

And in that, everything is energy, and it moves in and out of everything else. Everything is always connecting through energy. And in that, that will be the avenue to acceptance, when people can recognize that they ARE interconnected, that they are joined in energy, and that it doesn’t matter whether they agree with something or whether they like something or whether they loathe something. That doesn’t matter. None of it matters.

What matters is that everything else is a part of you. This is part of the realization and the awareness of “You are creating all of your reality.” Therefore, all of those people that are fighting are part of you, because you’re creating all of that. All of the people throughout the world that are in conflict, that are in war, that are in situations that are inhospitable – ALL of it. People that you see in your own community, in your own town that you don’t agree with, that you don’t like, that are homeless or that are not trustworthy because they are ensnared with substances. These are all people that are a part of you, and you are a part of them.

You don’t have to like them. That doesn’t matter. It’s all interconnected. Everyone is a part of everyone else, and that is the reality.

And most of you are still fighting with everyone else because you don’t LIKE everyone else and you don’t AGREE with everyone else. And in your present time framework now, again you’re being faced with another election about who you don’t like and who you don’t agree with. It doesn’t matter. I can’t express that enough to any of you. It doesn’t matter.

What matters is that regardless, you are all connected. You are all a part of each other, and THAT does matter. And remember what I expressed quite some time ago: The only thing that disconnects you is aggression. That does generate a disconnect. Therefore, it’s a matter of looking at each of you, your own behaviors. Because we’re not speaking only of aggression in war. People are aggressive to each other in many situations.

It’s a matter of also recognizing not being black and white, that you can be accepting of people and of their behaviors and their choices and their expressions without agreeing with it, and that doesn’t mean that you have to support them in what you don’t agree with, but that you support them as humans.

LYNDA: Humans.

ELIAS: And in that, it’s simply a matter of recognizing that you’re not being aggressive towards others and you’re not pushing your guidelines onto them.

LYNDA: Right.

ELIAS: That is, I would say, your biggest challenge.

LYNDA: I agree. Who’s right? Nobody. Wow. Thank you.

ELIAS: Nobody and everybody.

LYNDA: Nobody and everybody. Each to his own guidelines.

ELIAS: Yes. That’s a matter of what you do on a daily basis.

LYNDA: Yes. Thank you.

ELIAS: You’re very welcome. And I offer a tremendous energy in support to all of you, because I recognize how difficult it is.

LYNDA: Thank you.

ELIAS: You are very welcome.
