An Urgent Matter

Topics:

”An Urgent Matter”

Thursday, November 6, 1997 © 1997 (Private)
Participants: Mary (Michael), Vicki (Lawrence), and Stella (Cindel).
Elias arrives at 11:15 AM. (Time was ten seconds)

ELIAS: Good afternoon, once again!

STELLA: Hi, Elias.

ELIAS: A very busy week!

VICKI: Yeah!

STELLA: And a sense of urgency also, or it seems like it. Elias, I have had this thing happen this week that ... you know, somehow it seems like out of this world, like so stupid, like I’m making too much drama and all this stuff. But then again, I am listening more to what I feel or what comes to me, and so I’m just going to tell you exactly what happened. I have a nephew. His name is Emilio Antonio. He’s from my brother, who is in Argentina. He’s two years old, and I guess this little boy has been sick for a little while here. They’re saying that he’s got some sort of bacteria, something to do with his stomach. He’s got diarrhea, he’s throwing up, now he’s losing a lot of weight, and he’s got a high fever.

Anyway, my mom told me this on Tuesday, and I was bothered by it the whole day. I was just bothered, somewhat bothered, and then in the afternoon I had this thing happen. I don’t know where I came up with it, but it was like, ’Somebody is putting something in his food to get back at his mom.’ And I thought, ’Well, this is ridiculous. This just doesn’t make sense!’ But anyway, I took it for what it was and thought, ’Well, I don’t know.’ It was pretty strong. I told my mom and she’s like, ’Oh, gosh! No, no way!’

Yesterday, I had this sense of ... I spoke to them. I called them up on the phone and I spoke to my sister-in-law. I didn’t say anything. I just wanted to know how he was doing. She told me he didn’t want to take his medicine and he’s been pretty sick. My brother called me afterwards, and somehow I feel like there was something missing in the phone call. It was like something that was not said. It’s like, why did he call me? There’s something weird there. And yesterday was kind of weird for me because I was thinking about it a lot, and today I got sick. I had this sickness in my stomach. I felt like throwing up, I felt light-headed, I felt like crying ... I mean, this basket case that I became! And all of a sudden, it’s like all I’m thinking about is Emilio. So I came to you, my doctor! (Laughter)

ELIAS: (Chuckling) Ah! I now engage a new profession!

STELLA: Yeah! Teacher, doctor ... change roles!

ELIAS: Quite amusing! The physician is requesting of a liquid.

Vic’s note: Here, Elias stops and stares at me. It took me a few seconds to figure out that he said the word ’liquid.’ Finally, I get up to look for Mary’s water bottle.

ELIAS: (Chuckling) Delayed reaction!

Vic’s note: I hand Elias the water bottle, which he proceeds to examine carefully. It was a different type of bottle than Mary usually uses. In fact, Elias rarely drinks anything during sessions these days. He did the first year quite a bit, but not for a while now. Mary’s illness seems to be affecting of this.

ELIAS: Hmmm. Interesting design. And how would you be accessing?

VICKI: Well, you stick the end of it in your mouth, you tip the bottle up, and you suck!

ELIAS: Ah! We may be accomplishing of this action. It has been a while since physical focus!

STELLA: I would say quite a while! (He drinks out of the bottle)

ELIAS: Thank you.

VICKI: You’re welcome.

ELIAS: Michael may be resorting to conventional glassware!

VICKI: Would you like a regular glass of water, Elias?

ELIAS: This would be acceptable.

VICKI: Okay. (I get a glass of water, which was left untouched)

ELIAS: As to your situation, you are empathically connecting with this small one and receiving messages within consciousness and therefore manifesting similar symptoms, this being the empathic action that you are engaging. There is a sense that your brother holds of elements not being right, in your terms, although he is unaware of what is the off-element. He merely senses that something is incorrect. I shall express to you that you are correct in your assessment.

STELLA: I know who it is too.

ELIAS: You are correct within this also. (Pause) It is unnecessary for you to be holding to the empathic experience. It has gained your attention and you have realized the situation and communication. Therefore, it is unnecessary for you to continue in this action.

STELLA: Okay. Yeah, I kind of thought that I would ... somehow, I am trusting myself a little more, but I do need the validation and I came here for the validation, and I knew. I can’t let go of this, for some reason.

ELIAS: I caution you not to be creating in drama, in communication with other individuals in this area. It is unnecessary for you to be creating a panic situation with your family.

STELLA: Okay. But I could tell my brother and his wife, if perhaps she is totally involved with his food, in taking care of his food?

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: Can I do that?

ELIAS: Yes.

STELLA: Okay. Thank you.

ELIAS: You may be cautioning them, but do not be expressing overly in drama!

STELLA: Yeah ... which sometimes I’m good at! (Laughter)

ELIAS: Quite! This be the reason for the cautioning. It is unnecessary to be creating a larger situation than already exists.

STELLA: Yeah, and I do believe this lady who is doing this loves him very much ... loves this boy. She doesn’t like the lady, his mother, and she has a lot of issues with that. I know that. She told me a lot of stuff. Is he my father? Emilio Antonio?

ELIAS: No.

STELLA: Grandfather?

ELIAS: No.

STELLA: I’ve had such a connection with him since he was born that I thought it had to do with either my father, because I thought of it, or my grandfather, because my mom had a dream about my grandfather and a little boy. So that was kind of interesting. (Pause)

Well, it feels kind of sad. I feel sad. I feel very sad.

ELIAS: It is a difficult situation. There are many difficult situations throughout your globe in many different areas. Belief systems are held very strongly, and cultural alignments are very strong also. Therefore, this creates situations that become quite difficult. There is no wrong element to any of these cultural alignments. They are merely different. This be the reason that this action of your shift becomes so very important, in altering belief systems and accepting belief systems, and in this allowing yourselves to be accepting of yourselves and all of each other. There is a great lack of acceptance in many areas of your planet presently. This also holds true within this area of the country of which you speak. There are hierarchies and there are peasantries, and there is much bitterness.

STELLA: Yes, that’s true.

ELIAS: And as you learn to be accepting of yourselves and of others, you become more sensitive to the injustices that occur within actions of other individuals.

STELLA: I understand. (Sighing) Okay. Elias, I have a question from Marta. She said that she was drinking from ... she had a dream, but she doesn’t think it was a dream, because now she’s learning the difference between dreaming and the other one ... I don’t know what she called it. But anyway, Marta said that it was like water coming out of a stream, and she drank twice out of this stream and felt very much your presence there, and wanted to convey that to you and get a confirmation that it was correct.

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: Yeah, he knew that.

ELIAS: This also would be another element of the pond.

STELLA: Yeah, I kind of thought so. I told him that too. Okay. He’s going to like that! Letty has been seeing you too. I think she said that you said to her, in one of her dreams, ’Trust yourself.’ Something like that.

ELIAS: Quite ’Eliasian!’ (We all laugh) Interesting term! I am continuously expressing this same statement!

STELLA: I know!

ELIAS: (Chuckling) Although you may be acknowledging that within recent creation of illness with this individual, she is accomplishing well in affecting of the creation of the asthma.

STELLA: She’s affecting?

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: In a positive ... I mean ...

ELIAS: Correct. Therefore, I offer acknowledgment of this.

STELLA: Okay, great! She’s going to love it. Yeah, she’s feeling a lot better with this asthma thing. Great!

ELIAS: And you may be attempting your inner landscape.

STELLA: By becoming little? (Laughing) With myself?

ELIAS: (Chuckling) With you both.

STELLA: With us both. Alright, we’ll do it! Talking about stuff like that, I have this condition that I have had forever, ever since I can remember in this focus, with canker sores. And the funniest thing was that when I left my ex-husband, the canker sores went away for about four years. Now they have come back and I can’t get rid of them. Now I have canker sores. I just have them. I mean, it’s sort I like I know how to live with them. I was wondering, is there a recognition of something that I need to be aware of? Because why the canker sores?

ELIAS: You are taking on responsibility for other individuals, and in this you are creating unnecessary physical ailments within yourself as a signal to yourself to be noticing. As you allowed yourself a time framework of not taking personal responsibility for all other individuals around you, you also eliminated certain physical maladies; but now you move into an area which is familiar to you, in taking responsibility for other individuals.

You have created a situation with yourself and others, that you surround yourself much of your time with individuals that you have become close to within friendships, and you are taking on a personal responsibility for these individuals. This is unnecessary. Re-focus yourself, and concentrate upon yourself and accepting of yourself and addressing to your own belief systems, and do not concern yourself with taking responsibility for other individuals.

STELLA: Okay. Well, I’ve got to do that because I’m sick and tired of this stuff. It hurts.

ELIAS: (Chuckling) Many individuals create physical maladies to gain their attention in their own speaking to themselves and recognition of areas that they need not be moving into, such as creating shrines or holding personal responsibility for other individuals.

STELLA: Alright. Well, I have something to work with now. That’s good. Oh, Elias! (Elias and Vic crack up) Now, going back to the Mexican connection. Are you familiar with the Mexican connection? (Laughter) This is with Margot and the stuff that she’s been saying about ... she had a dream where she saw a lady named Marta, and she thought that perhaps Marta was the Marta that we know, but this Marta was dressed quite well, but she was quite stoic, like a sourpuss, and we know Marta as being very, very sweet! So she was kind of saying, ’Well, maybe it doesn’t fit.’ But anyway, behind that, I think there’s some sort of connection between Marta and Castille and perhaps myself, and then Margot. And I think they go back to their families in Mexico, and I think there’s some sort of connection there. Is there some sort of something happening? Is that where the money is coming from? I’m whispering! (Elias and Vic crack up again) Is this where Vincent is?

ELIAS: (Laughing) Tsk tsk tsk! Cindel, Cindel! And you continue for the five hundredth and two times ...

STELLA: Oh, god!

ELIAS: ... of repeating these questionings, and I shall repeat to you also! You hold the ability to investigate and offer yourself these answers!

STELLA: Really. Well, we’re doing some research on it! (Elias is still laughing) But I think this connection has to do more with ... does it have a lot to do with me, or am I just kind of a bystander?

ELIAS: You are involved.

STELLA: I’m involved? Oh, good. With regard to Vincent ... let’s go back to Vincent! (Elias is still laughing) Remember I told you about the tile and stuff that I saw? That was an invitation I wrote. I wrote it really nice. It was in calligraphy, it was black pen, and I wrote ’Vincent.’ Did he get the invitation? I don’t know where I’m inviting him, but did he get it? (Elias is still laughing) I wrote it very nicely!

ELIAS: (Still laughing) Fishing for clues!

STELLA: Well, I did the work!

ELIAS: (Still laughing) Quite amusing! I must be acknowledging of your determination and persistence. It is quite admirable that you do not deviate from your chosen ’path!’ I shall express to you that a slight contact has been made in consciousness, but not within objective awareness.

STELLA: Hmm! Okay ... but how does he know me? I mean, this is so weird to me, ’cause how ... who is this man?

ELIAS: Investigate! (Grinning at Stella)

STELLA: Is he ... you know what Marta said? She’s going to help me look in for him! (Laughing) South America? Central America? Where is he?? (Laughing) I bet if I find him, I won’t know what to say!

ELIAS: Quite! You may be working on THIS information!

STELLA: Right! It’s like, ’Well, do you remember me?’ Oh, gosh. Okay, I shall continue. At least a slight thing was done, right?

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: Okay. So that works. Well Elias, basically I think that’s it. I’m going to see you on Saturday. My greatest urgency was this thing with the baby, so I will talk to them. They don’t believe in any of this stuff, but I will tell them. I think my brother might be a little bit more receptive.

ELIAS: Merely exercise discretion.

STELLA: Yeah, I know.

ELIAS: And allow yourself to let go of the empathic experience.

STELLA: Yeah, I will. Thank you so much, Elias. I’ll see you later.

ELIAS: (Chuckling) And are you receiving communication, Lawrence?

VICKI: Oh, sure I am! And no, I don’t have any questions about it!

ELIAS: Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn! (Laughter) These twins may be very stubborn at times -- BOTH -- and quite pleased with yourself in this, too!

VICKI: Yep! (We all crack up) (1)

ELIAS: Very well! (To Stella) I shall express to you that I offer my services to you at your discretion, if you are so choosing.

STELLA: Thank you, Elias.

ELIAS: (Humorously) You merely need to be expressing to me which role you are wishing me to occupy: professor, or physician, or ... clergy! (Oh, brother!)

STELLA: Oh, okay. That’s the one I haven’t used! Okay, maybe that would come next?

ELIAS: I am quite versed in all areas! (Grinning)

STELLA: Oh, I’m sure you are!

ELIAS: If you are needing a blessing, I may also be offering this! (Talk about taking it to the limit! Give me a break!)

STELLA: I shall remember that! (Laughing) And please take me to the pond next time!

ELIAS: YOU move to the pond!

STELLA: I don’t know how to do it! I’m trying! And Marta is not helping!

ELIAS: YOU are not helping YOU.

STELLA: I’m not helping me?

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: Why do you think ... am I so afraid?

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: Yeah. Like really afraid, huh?

ELIAS: It is unnecessary to hold this fear so tightly.

STELLA: What am I afraid of? Leaving this body here for a little while?

ELIAS: You hold the same fear that many individuals hold, that if you are detaching your subjective awareness from your body consciousness, that you may not know how to reconnect. This is unnecessary, for it is an automatic action.

STELLA: Okay. Maybe I will just keep thinking that, that it is unnecessary to feel this fear. And then once I get over the fear, I’ll get to the pond!

ELIAS: Quite!

STELLA: But in the meantime, can you kind of nudge me or something?

ELIAS: (Chuckling) I am always nudging you!

STELLA: You are? Okay. I think a lot about you. It’s so neat! Especially at night when I’ve got to get up. It’s like, ’Okay, Elias, here I am!’ And everything’s dark! (Elias is laughing)

ELIAS: Appropriate timing ... for the ghost shall visit you!

STELLA: I know! Well, hopefully I’ll get to the pond pretty soon.

ELIAS: Very well. I shall express great fondness to you both. (Humorously) I may be in conference, this being quite a busy week! Therefore, I may be unavailable ... temporarily! And I shall be anticipating our next meeting.

STELLA: Thank you, Elias.

ELIAS: To you both this day, a fond au revoir!

Elias departs at 11:44 PM.

Vic’s note: I don’t know the details, but Stella did talk to her family, and the baby is doing much better now.

FOOTNOTES:

(1) This is in reference to session dated 8/19/97, which I was transcribing at the time this session was held. I was receiving ’communication’ regarding the changing of two words in the transcript, and was having great difficulty trusting the interaction.
