[Audio begins part way through session]

JF: Isn’t it boring when we know everything and everything that’s going to happen, it’s all mapped out and blah-blah-blah-blah-blah? You know, we want to secure the whole thing. The fact that there is a surprise in the making is just really exciting.

ELIAS: I would agree! But that’s consciousness. You don’t think you’re creating anything new, but you are. Consciousness is always moving in an expansion, by folding in.

JF: Which is the big mystery right there. It’s such a mysterious motion.

JEAN: By folding in – I don’t want to take up the time, but that’s always been something I’m interested in.

JF: Talk about that.

JEAN: Yes, folding inward.

ELIAS: (Laughs) That’s the natural action of consciousness. You do it significantly – not that everyone does it, but you do it. You are focused inwardly, and that’s what allows you to expand your awareness. That’s what allows you to grow and to become more self-aware. You’re expanding by folding in on yourself, and this is what consciousness does. It folds in on itself and then is exploring every aspect of consciousness, every aspect of itself, to discover what can be newly created.

In this, there is a never-ending expansion, a never-ending growth, and moving in a never-ending expression of new and creating. And in that, it does that by constantly, continuously exploring and examining every aspect of itself.

JF: How is it that any of this is? How is it that consciousness is? How is it that we exist at all? How is it that there is anything? I mean, it’s just mind-boggling. (Elias laughs) No end, no beginning…

ELIAS: That is correct.

JF: … and there IS.

ELIAS: Yes – has always been; there IS. But in that, the only thing that has ends and beginnings are actual things that spring from consciousness. Because consciousness, once again, is not a thing, it’s an action. And from that action is created things that are manifestations, and the manifestations have beginnings and endings, but consciousness itself does not.

JF: And I’m starting to tap right now into this sort of unfathomable… I mean, it’s mind-blowing that consciousness is.

ELIAS: Yes.

JF: In your explorations, Elias, you don’t reach a point of like… You don’t get to the end of it.

ELIAS: There is no end.

JF: You don’t get to the origin of it. Aren’t you endlessly mystified and in awe?

ELIAS: Yes and no. That is an ongoing, let us say, thread in the fabric of what is and of what essence is, but as I have expressed, essence is not what you think it is, because it isn’t singular. But in that, there is a continuous wonder and awe.

JF: Wonder is a good word.

ELIAS: But there also is the overlaying piece, which is the constant expansion, the constant exploration, the always seeking of new and more. And in that, I would say that in addition to my agenda to be lessening the trauma in relation to the shift in consciousness, I would say that a significant part of my motivation and my curiosity and my fascination with your reality is always being satiated in relation to how you are continuously creating new, and being surprising, in that you can be so unpredictable.

JF: We put on a good show. (Laughs)

ELIAS: Oh, you very much do, very much do – very entertaining. And also inspiring, because you are continuously moving in explorations.

And even in what you would think of as terrible and horrible and violent and destructive, even in that you are amazingly creative and unpredictable, and can generate astounding new directions of creativity in how to be monstrous (chuckles), in a manner of speaking. But it isn’t monstrous, because it’s simply experiences. And in that, my perspective of that is different than yours would be. But it’s all amazing in how creative it can be and how astounding you can be in what you create and what directions you move in and how you invent new. And you do it a lot. And in that, there is frequently that element of surprise, which is invigorating and thrilling and very inspiring.

Therefore, this is also the reason that I continue to maintain and express how significant every individual is, how important each of you is and how much you do and how much you can do, and how much you can affect. One individual can be tremendously affecting. And in that, you don’t have to perceive yourself to be some extraordinary individual; you can perceive yourself to be quite ordinary and still generate extraordinary expressions and directions, and move mountains. (Chuckles)
