Participants: Mary (Michael) and Margot (Giselle)
Elias arrives at 8:43 AM. (Arrival time is 13 seconds.)
ELIAS: Good morning!
MARGOT: Good morning, Elias! (Elias chuckles) I have a brain full of snot today, I think. I’m having a sinus allergy kind of a thing, but I can still think. (Elias laughs) I’m happy to hear your voice and want to thank you, first of all, for the conversation that we had a couple, three weeks ago when I once again got myself out of harmony with my subjective. It was because I was discounting myself, which you helped me to understand, and I’m still trying to learn not to do. The energy that you sent me was so strong I felt it like a hot flash. (Elias laughs) I am grateful to you for that, because I’ll never forget it.
ELIAS: You are very welcome, my friend.
MARGOT: I’m so happy you’re my friend and that we can have talks, other than like this. (Elias chuckles) I have a whole bunch of things here for myself or for other folks, so I’ll get right at it.
ELIAS: Very well.
MARGOT: The last time we talked, you confirmed that in the town, which is now a ghost town, of Bodie, California, I was a prostitute and a madam. Was my name Rosa May?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: I knew that! (Elias chuckles) Last time when we talked, you told me that I am not Mary Magdalene, and then I decided that I would probably be the other Mary that’s referred to as the mother of James and John.
ELIAS: Observing essence.
MARGOT: That’s what I’m picking up on. Was that for the lifetime?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: You did confirm that I am Minua, the lover of Pythagoras, and the manner in which you answered when I asked if that focus of Pythagoras is in the Elias group, it led me to think that perhaps you or Patel are Pythagoras. Would that be so, and is it you?
ELIAS: Not myself.
MARGOT: Not yourself, and not Patel?
ELIAS: Yes, it is.
MARGOT: It is Patel. Okay, great. You also confirmed that I have a focus by the name of Giselka, and I’m curious to know if I would be the Giselka who is Czech and was a friend of Alexi’s grandfather in that focus, John Vayda.
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: She and I both think so, so that’s good. (Elias laughs) You also confirmed that I have a focus in England in the 1800s by the name of Angelica. Would that perhaps be the Angelica known as Lady Coddington?
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: I wanted to be her! She did that pressed fairy book and I really did want to do that. And we talked about my relationship to Anne Frank. I have an impression that I’m her father, Otto Frank.
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: When I went down with the Titanic, I have a strong impression that I was a male steward who worked in the second-class passenger deck and that my name was Tom.
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: I think that I had another focus on that ship, because I also got an impression of being a young girl about 12.
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: So I had two aboard that ship?
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: Wow. A couple of sessions ago you confirmed that you are the Ashmael that I dreamed about. Were we husband and wife in that focus?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: And was my name Marika?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: There’s a “B” connected to the place that we lived. Did we live in Bolivia or Bulgaria?
ELIAS: Bulgaria.
MARGOT: Bulgaria, okay. I even got that we were Bolivians living in Bulgaria, and I thought, “No, that’s a little far-fetched.” (Elias laughs)
When I created our kitten Axel in April, I felt quite certain that it was once again a venture of Sweala and myself, a sort of repeat of our creation of Cecil, the older cat, in which Sweala donated a creature from her reality. But Axel is such an out of the ordinary cat, and I would like to know just where he came from. Was it from the same place, is it from the other reality?
ELIAS: No, but it is a joint creation.
MARGOT: So has he been a creature here before?
ELIAS: In a reconfigurement of energy, yes.
MARGOT: Has he been a horse?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: Was he the well-known racehorse, Seabiscuit?
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: Well, I watched a documentary the other day and I thought I picked up on his energy. It’s so strange.
ELIAS: Similar.
MARGOT: He’s wonderful. We love him, but he just keeps us guessing all the time. (Elias laughs)
Now, the hottest question right now in the family of Nefertiti and Akhenaten, is who is Akhenaten? I think it’s Bosht.
ELIAS: Observing essence.
MARGOT: The six daughters of that pair, you have confirmed that Camdon is the third oldest and that Ankhesenamun is her name, and that I’m the oldest daughter, Meritaten. We think that Gildae is one of the six daughters also, and that her name might be Meketaten.
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: In that whole epic in which Akhenaten and Nefertiti decided that there was one god and not multiple gods, I’ve thought a lot about that. I, of course, read up a lot of it, and it seems to me that could be a religious chapter or chapter of the religious book.
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: So can we call it Akhenaten or can we call it Amarna?
ELIAS: You may designate it in whatever manner you choose.
MARGOT: Well, I think I’m going to tell everybody it’s Amarna, because that’s where it all took place.
ELIAS: Very well.
MARGOT: Before I go on to questions for others, I’ve got one of my own. Isn’t that a surprise, I have one of my own? (Elias laughs) I sit here at the back of the house at my desk, and quite often I hear things in my kitchen. I hear footsteps, I hear music, whistling, which I think may be a Patel trick. I’ve gotten up to go look and see if it comes from the outside or from the folks next door or something, and there’s never anything in there. I think I’m listening to the greetings of essences. I think it might be you, and I think it might be Vicki or Otha or Patel. Can you give me any clue?
ELIAS: All of what you have expressed, and others.
MARGOT: That’s what I thought. Well, it’s very nice. It’s not frightening at all. I just know I have visitors. (Elias laughs)
Jale and Bosht and I have been discussing the individual known as Lawrence of Arabia, and we’re pretty much of different opinions. We think that it’s either Lawrence or Patel or Michael. Can you give us some help here?
ELIAS: Michael is an observing essence.
MARGOT: And Lawrence is not Lawrence of Arabia?
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: I also think that Bosht is the Arabian friend of Lawrence, and his name was Auda Abu Tayi.
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: Okay, we got one out of that.
Muriel and I have been talking once again about the religious and shift books. I’m aware that we are the ones that give names to these things and kind of get ourselves messed up in it, and that the chapters do overlap and that’s why we get confused. But she tells me that some time back, you confirmed to both her and Malhai that there is another book which we would call “Alexander.”
ELIAS: Which you have since renamed.
MARGOT: I have always called it the “Egypt chapter,” but she says that it’s not a chapter, it’s a complete book by itself.
ELIAS: Concerning Egyptian focuses, no.
MARGOT: She said there are five chapters in the Alexander book.
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: So we do have another book by the name of Alexander, if that’s the way we choose to call it.
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: Okay, I think that’s a little clearer than it was before. In the Alexander book then, there is a medieval England chapter, she tells me. Since we already have a medieval British Isles chapter in the shift book in the early Middle Ages, can you give me a timeframe for the medieval England chapter in the Alexander book? (Pause)
ELIAS: Nine hundreds.
MARGOT: We have placed events surrounding Julius Caesar in the Roman civil wars chapter of the religious book. Do these events belong in the Alexander book?
ELIAS: As you are aware, different chapters of different books, so to speak, overlap each other, and therefore some events may be occurring in similar time frameworks and may be attributed to different books.
MARGOT: I see. I think the bottom line is we really can’t do that. We can’t try to separate them out.
ELIAS: For the most part, you are correct.
MARGOT: I have three questions for Gildae. She would like to have the name of her Dream Walker. (Pause)
ELIAS: That essence would incorporate the tone of Achaah (AHK ha).
MARGOT: Can you spell that for me?
ELIAS: A-C-H-A-A-H.
MARGOT: And she would like to know if Grady holds a focus of Militza of Montenegro.
ELIAS: Observing essence.
MARGOT: She would like to know if one of her focuses is the singer Jenny Lind.
ELIAS: Also observing essence.
MARGOT: I have some correspondence from Tomas, who lives in Costa Rica, and I agreed to ask a couple of things for him. He wants to know about primary aspects, and gives me an example. If an individual drinks too much alcohol during an evening and afterwards doesn’t remember anything, is it because the primary aspect has moved aside and therefore doesn’t hold the memory?
ELIAS: No. This is directly associated with expressed beliefs concerning the consumption of certain substances and what may result in such a situation. Therefore, the individual generates that type of experience in conjunction with the belief.
MARGOT: That makes lots of sense to me. Evidently when his aunt disengaged in 1998, she had been acting as a medium for the family with the father, who had died, and he wants to know if she was actually channeling him or if there was an energy exchange or if it was perhaps just her making it all up to help the family.
ELIAS: Not an actual energy exchange, but I may express that the experience was quite real and actually tapping into the energy of that individual.
MARGOT: So tapping into the energy deposit?
ELIAS: No, tapping into an energy expression of the individual.
MARGOT: He’ll be pleased about that. Ornah would like to know if he has a focus as Brigadier-General Waltham, who was with the British Army in France during the first world war?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: Connor and a lot of other folks would like to know if he holds the focus of Kaiser Wilhelm II?
ELIAS: Observing essence.
MARGOT: Grady would like to know the same thing, because she thinks Kaiser Wilhelm II is her.
ELIAS: No, observing essence of the first.
MARGOT: Is Connor Richard I or Richard the Lion Hearted?
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: I feel that Benjamin Franklin is in the Elias group. Is this true?
ELIAS: There is more than one observing essence of that individual.
MARGOT: Oh, well, okay. Is Connor one of those that are observing essence to Benjamin?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: I really did feel an energy there. Mikah would like me to clarify whether or not he is the directing or the observing essence of Lansford Hastings.
ELIAS: Observing.
MARGOT: He was sure about that. When I talked to you, I asked you if Mikah was Lansford Hastings and you said yes. But it’s the observing essence.
ELIAS: Yes, throughout the entirety.
MARGOT: Iona has a question about the identity of a focus of hers in the Trojan war. She believes that her name was Iliona.
ELIAS: Correct.
MARGOT: I have always felt a deep connection to the moon, which I’ve talked to you about before. Grady feels that I am Helena, Greek goddess of the moon. Is this so?
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: A prominent Nazi gal whose name was Leni Riefenstahl disengaged a few weeks ago, and I got the sense that my focus of Anna Marie Kempf was close friends with her. Is that true?
ELIAS: Somewhat. I would not express the identification of close friends, but friends, yes.
MARGOT: Was I perhaps an observing essence of Leni?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: I also got the impression that either Camdon or Grady is the directing essence of her.
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: While we’re talking about focuses in Nazi Germany, Bosht feels that in my focus of the Jewish watchmaker, my last name was Spidel. Would this be correct?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: Now we’re talking about things that Bosht wants to know! (Elias laughs) I don’t know why he doesn’t just call Mary and talk to you. But anyway, he lets me do that. Bosht feels that in my focus of Bertha, the lover of Thelonius Monk, my real name is actually Mary Lou Williams.
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: He would also like to know if our friend Eric W. is Eric Clapton.
ELIAS: Observing essence.
MARGOT: And he would like to know if Grady holds the focus of John Lee Hooker, the blues singer.
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: He’ll be pleased about that. The last thing he’d like to know is if the novelist Richard Prather is a focus of Bosht.
ELIAS: Observing.
MARGOT: I just happened to find out recently that my friend Leslie, whose essence name is Margaret, knows my disabled grandson Nick and that during the time that she was his landlady they grew very close to each other. It made me think that they have other shared focuses. Would this be true?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: Could you give me a count, or how many it is that they share?
ELIAS: Twenty-three.
MARGOT: Whoa! I guess I picked that up right. (Elias laughs) Do I have a focus by the name of Justine?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: She wants to talk or something. She is in my brain all the time. (Elias chuckles)
I have a recollection of having asked you once about a dolphin focus I have whom I’ve always called either Aimee or Amy, but I looked back through all the sessions that I’ve had and I can’t find where I asked you that. I believe you told me that even though one of her fears was that she’d be caught and put into an ocean aquarium, that hadn’t occurred yet. First of all, I think I need to ask you if it’s true that I do have a dolphin focus that I’ve always called Amy or Aimee.
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: I’m feeling now that she’s part of perhaps the Navy’s underwater experiments?
ELIAS: No.
MARGOT: Is she in an aquarium or is she still free?
ELIAS: Not in an aquarium.
MARGOT: Do I have other dolphin and whale focuses?
ELIAS: Yes.
MARGOT: How many do I have?
ELIAS: Six.
MARGOT: Well, I’ve got to investigate that! It never occurred to me that I’ve had more than her. (Elias laughs)
Howard and I are, on our way to the group session in Fresno, we’re going to go up into Utah to a place that is quite well known up there in the southern part of the state. It was a bad scene in which the folks from the LDS church back in the 1800s killed a bunch of immigrants going through from Alabama, I believe. It’s become known within the church as the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Howard and I have a hunch that we were both involved in that. Can you tell me if that’s so?
ELIAS: Yes, you are correct.
MARGOT: We’re going to go up there and take a look at it, and then when we get back I’ll talk to you again and we’ll find out about it.
ELIAS: Very well. (Laughs)
MARGOT: Just before I talked to Mary, I got a letter from somebody I’ve never met before that turned out to be Jim. I think he said his essence name was Bevan. He is feeling quite a draw to me, and The thinks it is in regard to my focus of Jules Massenet or to the Meditation from “Thais” that I’ve talked to you about so much. Can you give me anything to write back to him about that? I think, just after I read what he said and I’m looking at it again now, I think that he may have been Massenet’s wife.
ELIAS: No, but an admirer of that individual.
MARGOT: An admirer of Massenet in that focus?
ELIAS: Yes, and also incorporates counterpart action with you.
MARGOT: He feels that now or then?
ELIAS: Now.
MARGOT: Oh, yes, I’d say he does, now that I look at his mail. He was very drawn to that, and I thought it was so interesting. I love that he’s older than I am. (Elias laughs) I thought I was the oldest in the whole forum, and I’m not!
ELIAS: There are individuals that are older than you! (Laughs)
MARGOT: Really? Oh, that’s hard to believe, Elias. (Both laugh) Well, I don’t know that I’m out of time, but I don’t have anything else on my list here that I can think of. I’m looking around here to see if there was anything else I wanted to ask about. I think that I’m all through. I had a lot more things to talk to you about, and it was all concerning all this mess that I’ve gotten myself into on account of discounting myself. But simply because I’ve made such a mess for myself this week, I think I’m beginning finally to notice when I’m discounting.
ELIAS: Ah! Congratulations! This is an accomplishment.
MARGOT: Yes, it is, because it feels so bad when I do it now. I’m finally paying attention to it, and I discount myself over everything. I guess I have done that all of my life, because I look at all areas of my life and I think, “How, why have I done this?” But I have and...
ELIAS: Let me express to you, Giselle, what should you discount yourself in regard to now? What is so very important and so urgent that you must express to yourself that you are not accomplishing well enough?
MARGOT: Well, it’s because I think that my work, everything I do, is urgent! Since it’s my work, I must be in charge of it and on top of it and not out of control of it.
ELIAS: And what shall occur if you are not expressing in this manner?
MARGOT: (Laughs) I don’t know — lightning will hit?
ELIAS: Ah! Highly unlikely! (Laughs)
MARGOT: I don’t know, but I just have always felt such an importance about what I do, but only in the manner that I be accomplishing and that I do what I said I was going to do. I’m very much discounting myself anymore because my belief systems in aging get in my way. I feel that my brain doesn’t work as well as it used to. Many days I get myself very confused very easily. That’s really been the biggest problem, because I feel like I just can’t do what I used to be able to do.
ELIAS: And perhaps you are offering yourself an expression that you do not WANT to do what you did previously, and that you WANT to be offering yourself more freedom now and not burying yourself in should-dos.
MARGOT: Yes, this is exactly it! And I know that, I recognize that very, very well, that I really don’t want to do this anymore, but unfortunately no matter how we plan, we seem to not be able so far to create another accountant for the business so that I could just do what I want to do. There’s definitely that large element in there.
ELIAS: It is not that you cannot create another individual to incorporate this task. It is that you block that creation, for you express the responsibility for this task. In this, one of your truths that is very strongly expressed concerns follow-though and that if you are not generating that follow-through, you are not being responsible.
MARGOT: Yes, that’s true. I understand that if I’m creating a thing it will come and that I don’t have to push it or encourage it or shove it along. Yes, that’s very much the case, Elias.
ELIAS: I am aware. In this, perhaps you may allow yourself to relax and play and not be concerning yourself with this tremendous “should” of responsibility. Once you begin to generate that type of energy, you shall easily draw another individual to perform the task.
MARGOT: Ah! That would be wonderful. I’m going to really work on that, Elias.
ELIAS: Rather than working on that, perhaps you may allow yourself to play with it. (Laughs)
MARGOT: Yes, I could do that.
ELIAS: Are you not incorporating enough “working-on” as it is?
MARGOT: Yes, I’m doing a lot of that. (Elias chuckles) And I do like to play, and about the only time I get to play is when I go to a group session, so I’m really looking forward to Fresno. And we will see you there!
ELIAS: And perhaps when you return from your trip to be objectively engaging myself in physical proximity, you shall return with an altered perception and allow yourself to incorporate that playfulness at home as you do away from home.
MARGOT: Wouldn’t that be great! (Elias chuckles) I do have a good time. As soon as I walk out the door of my house, actually, I’m in much better shape than I am when I am in my house at my desk. I think that this sinus thing that I’ve been so affected by this week has very much to do with the whole thing.
ELIAS: Perhaps you may incorporate a new exercise that may allow you to ease yourself into this expression of playfulness and flexibility and letting go of this strong association with holding to this responsibility and follow-through. In this, perhaps you may allow yourself in one week, every other day, to be generating whatever YOU want and not moving to your desk at all.
MARGOT: Wow! I don’t even know what I’d do, other than work at my desk.
ELIAS: (Laughs) Perhaps you shall engage your creativity and incorporate some imaginativeness and allow yourself to incorporate whatever action and direction that you want, perhaps entertaining yourself with playfulness with your creatures, perhaps incorporate a walk, perhaps allow yourself to play with other individuals — whatever direction you want, incorporate every other day. Allow yourself...
MARGOT: I could even read a book!
ELIAS: Correct!
MARGOT: Wow! I’m going to do that, Elias!
ELIAS: (Laughs) Or incorporate a film.
MARGOT: I just found a note here that Howard wrote to me this morning, and it goes back to the focus that I was asking you about, having to do with Lawrence of Arabia. Howard feels that in the movie, the part that Omar Sharif played — who was actually Sharif Hussein, I guess — he thinks that he has the focus that Omar Sharif played.
ELIAS: Observing.
MARGOT: Very good! Elias, I thank you for the suggestions...
ELIAS: You are quite welcome.
MARGOT: ...and I shall endeavor to lighten my load by playing.
ELIAS: Very well! (Laughs)
MARGOT: Jeez, I might even go to a movie all by myself some day!
ELIAS: Ah! Adventurous! (Chuckles)
MARGOT: And I will see you soon. I love you very much.
ELIAS: And as always, I offer my lovingness and affection to you also, Giselle.
MARGOT: Thank you.
ELIAS: I shall be anticipating our interaction, and I shall be continuing to express playful energy with you to be reminding you of our agreement.
MARGOT: Okay!
ELIAS: (Laughs) Very well, my dear friend, in great fondness as always, au revoir.
MARGOT: Bye, Elias.
Elias departs at 9:24 AM.
