Saturday, November 24, 2018 (Group/Webinar)

Participants: Mary (Michael) and 67 others (See Note 1)

ELIAS: Good day!

MODERATOR: Hi! This is the moderator, and we have our webinar internet group session, and we have questions that, as you know, people have voted on. And so, we’ll just start with the top voted question and move on from there.

ELIAS: Very well.

MODERATOR: Participants, I will call your name. You’ll have to unmute yourself, which you can do if you see your name on the left-hand side of the screen. If you are on the telephone, you will press *6 to unmute yourself.

So, our first question, our winning top question, comes from Jantine in Amsterdam. Are you there? (Pause) Jantine is showing poor network connectivity, so she may have trouble using her microphone. So, I can ask the question on her behalf.

ELIAS: Very well.

MODERATOR: And that question is: How can we best practice self-love?

ELIAS: Excellent question. What I would express to you first of all is to allow yourselves to focus your attention on something or someone that you know you have the experience of love. That may be your child, it may be an animal companion, it may be another individual, a partner. Focus on something or someone that you genuinely know that you have expressed or continue to express that love for.

Now; if you cannot connect with a person—which there are many people that have not yet experienced love for a person, and that is not unusual—what I would say to you is that isn’t the only expression of love that people have. You don’t only love people, and you don’t only love creatures. You actually can love an action, a subject. Some individual such as, let us say, a musician may love playing their instrument and love music. An artist will actually love what they produce in relation to what they are painting or drawing.

Therefore, there are many different expressions of love. And remember: love is NOT an emotion. Therefore, it doesn’t actually have its own feeling. You can generate a feeling of affection that accompanies love, but love itself does not necessarily incorporate a signal, a feeling, with it. And love is a genuine, genuine expression of knowing and appreciation.

Now what does that mean, knowing and appreciation? You know what appreciation means. Knowing is not that you know everything about the object of your love; therefore, if it is a person, it isn’t that you know everything about that person. If it is an expression such as music or art, it isn’t that you know everything about music or everything about art or everything about dancing. It is not knowing about; it is knowing.

Which means that you generate a genuine connection with that object of your love. And in that, how that translates in the knowing is that that object of your love is perceived by you as a part of you, that it is so connected to you that you perceive it as a part of your being.

Those of you that incorporate children and love your children, you will understand that knowing. It isn’t that you know everything about that child or the child that is an individual, because they may not be a child any longer, but in that, you experience – and I intentionally am not using the word “feel” because it isn’t actually a feeling, it isn’t a signal – but you experience that connection with that child in a manner that they are a part of you, in your perception. If something were to happen to them or if you lose them, it would be, in your perception, as if you had lost a part of yourself.

An individual that loves their music, if something happened in which they could not engage their music anymore, it would be as if a part of them is missing.

Now; in that, this is the first part of how to practice moving in the direction of self-love, is to identify something that you can connect to that you already love, that you know what the experience is in what you love other than yourself. That gives you an awareness objectively of what that means to you to experience that love of something.

Then, once you have identified something that you love, then I would suggest that you begin to ask yourself what do you love about that. What do you love about that child? And let me express that that may be somewhat challenging for you to answer initially because, generally speaking, if you love a child you began loving them at birth, or perhaps before birth. You didn’t even know them yet.

Therefore, it isn’t about objectively, surfacely knowing about that object of your love; there is something else that is driving that experience. Or if it is something else, such as music or art or anything else – it could be your bird or your dog or your cat. It could be a turtle. It could be a favorite tree. It doesn’t matter, because love is expressed the same regardless of what the object of it is.

Therefore, individuals compartmentalize, and they automatically express that love for another human should supersede any other type of love, but love is the same. It doesn’t have degrees. It doesn’t have levels. It isn’t expressed differently. Therefore, whatever the object of your love is, it is expressed the same. If you love a tree, you love a tree the same as you love a child. If you love an animal, you love that the same as you love your partner.

People are not an object of love that is stronger or more important. Love is love. It doesn’t distinguish in degrees or in relation to what the object of it is.

Therefore, when I say to you begin to question what is it about that object of your love that you love, that may be somewhat challenging initially for you to answer that to yourself, because you don’t define it. You express, “I merely began loving this at some point, and I have loved it ever since.” And you do, because love doesn’t die. No matter what you do, no matter what happens or what circumstances or situations occur, once you love something you don’t ever stop loving it.

In this, it can be challenging to identify what sparks that love. One piece which I will offer to you as a beginning in that exploration when you ask yourself what is it that I love, in relation to that object of my love, one piece is that whatever it is, you have allowed yourself to be open to and resonate with it.

Now; this is an important piece, because it isn’t random. And the reason that this is a very important piece is because that is actually a choice. You don’t necessarily objectively think about it as a choice, but it is. Because in that, you are choosing to be open and connect with that object of your love, and you are choosing to resonate with it. You are expressing a resonance intentionally, which is one of the very few actions that you DO do automatically but intentionally.

You don’t accidentally love your creature companion. You don’t accidentally love your art. You don’t accidentally love your child or your partner or your parents or any individual or any thing. You choose to love that. It isn’t automatic for a mother to give birth and love a child. That isn’t an automatic action. Being a loving mother is not one word. Love isn’t synonymous with a role. You choose to do that. You choose to express that.

Now; you aren’t entirely objectively paying attention to when you choose that, and generally speaking, when you choose to do that you will initially generate a signal. The signal is a feeling of being tremendously open, being tremendously allowing, and you translate that feeling into affection.

Therefore, from that moment on, you express a feeling of affection – at times, not continuously. Regardless of how much you love something, you don’t generate that feeling constantly. You generate it at times. And in that, you generate that feeling enough times to remind you that you do love this object of what it is that you have connected to and that you are open to it. It doesn’t mean you never feel anything else in relation to that, but the love is always present. It is always continuing and being expressed.

Now; the reason that it is significant to be asking yourself what is it that I love with this particular expression, this thing – it isn’t necessarily what do I love about it, because remember: if it is a talent that you express, you love it from the beginning and you don’t know what it is yet; you haven’t learned it. If it is a person, generally speaking you don’t actually know the moment that you began loving that. And even if you do know the moment—because sometimes you do—and even if you do know the moment that you began loving that person—whether it be a partner, a friend, a child—you don’t necessarily know what prompted that. You only know that it started, because you don’t bother to define it. You experience it. You accept it immediately because it is fulfilling, because it is an actual experience of interconnectedness. Love is one of the only experiences that you have in physical focus that you actually are experiencing interconnectedness with, but you don’t define it as that.

Now, in this, if you can identify, if you can answer that question – and let me express to you, the question is actually very easy to answer. It merely will seem difficult initially, because I have already told you what the answer is. In this, what I express to you about what you are doing when you begin to love something is the answer of what prompted you, what made you love that thing.

And what I expressed to you is what you are doing is you are generating an expression and an experience of being very open and allowing. Those two factors together allow you to objectively express and realize that interconnectedness. Now you have an experience that that object of your love is a part of you, and you know it. That is the knowing part—not that you know about, but you know in the experience that interconnectedness.

Now; this is an advantage, because you do have the experience. Therefore, it isn’t foreign to you. It isn’t something that is conceptual that you don’t understand or that you have to find. All of you have something that you have loved at some point or another in your life. And you may not be continuing to feel the affection that you coupled with that love, but remember: the expression of love, once it is begun, it never dies. It never changes. It never goes away. It is forever. It does have a beginning, but it never has an end. But it only has beginning in physical focus, because you are removed from that objective awareness of that interconnectedness, therefore you are rediscovering that. And when you do discover it, you express that love automatically.

Now; you use that experience and turn it to yourself.

Now, you do that in increments, because you don’t know how to in one moment, in one expression, to allow yourself that tremendous openness and allowance as you would, let us say, with a child. It is in one moment you know that you love this child. You have allowed and have opened, and the interconnectedness is being experienced.

Incrementally, you can begin doing that with yourself by catching yourself in compartmentalizing and conditions. Meaning that you practice noticing how you place conditions on what you allow with yourself. Those conditions express to you, you are lovable IF. Or, when you can express in a particular manner that doesn’t have any faults, then you can be loved, or then you can allow yourself to love you.

Let me express to you, when you love something you are not blinded to what you think of or what you identify as faults or annoyances, even if it isn’t another individual. If it is an animal, there may be moments or time frameworks in which they annoy you or they are irritating and you are not comfortable with them. You are not blinded to think that they are always perfect. No. Even if the object of your love is a tree, you may have moments in which you look at that tree and it annoys you that it is dropping all of its leaves and you have to clean it up.

I would express to you that that is another piece that is tremendously important for you to remember, that you give yourself the same allowance, that you don’t have to be perfect and you can love you, that you have experiences and influences that you might not like, but you can not like something and love it also. They aren’t mutually exclusive.

I would also express to you that it is a matter of practicing attempting to be open and allowing with yourself, not only when you are pleased with yourself but when you AREN’T pleased with yourself, when you assess that you did something wrong or you did something bad or you didn’t accomplish what you wanted to accomplish or you feel bad, and in that time framework practicing having compassion for yourself in the same manner that you do for people that you do love, or things that you do love, that when they don’t express perfectly, you do have compassion for them. If they are harsh with themself or if they are hurt, you have compassion for them and you express allowance. It is a matter of practicing the same actions, the same expressions with yourself as you do with whatever you love, not separating yourself in the capacity that you don’t deserve the same allowances or the same expressions as you give to anything that you love.

Therefore, those are manners in which you can begin to be practicing how to love yourself, and in that, also practicing with feeling affection. Not many of you feel affection for yourself. Some of you have moved to a point of acceptance with yourselves, that you can genuinely express that you like yourselves, which is excellent, and that moves you closer. It creates it being easier to move in a direction of loving yourself, if you like yourself. It is much harder if you don’t like yourself.

But in that, even if you like yourself, you do not necessarily express affection for yourself. Affection is something that you give to outside sources; it isn’t an expression that you do with you. Practice expressing affection in different moments with yourself. And that can be another avenue that will help you to be expressing that openness and that allowance to love more easily.

I would say that if you can move in these directions, it can be helpful for you to eventually accomplish actually loving yourself.

Next question.

MODERATOR: Our next question comes from Marij in Maastricht. Marij, are you there? (Pause) Marij was there a second ago, and now I think we… Marij, can you hear us?

MARIJ: Yes, I can hear you.

MODERATOR: Ah! I can hear you, too.

MARIJ: Okay. Can the rest see Mary? I see myself now, but that’s not a problem.

The question: You, Elias, told us before that who you are is contained in that energy field and those energy centers. Is there anything related to our energy centers and energy fields that we may by now get or understand more easily that could assist us in our becoming more aware of how to create our reality most effectively and efficiently? How can we pay more attention to our energy centers and energy fields?

Also, you mentioned before that many times we restrict our energy fields and how this holds us back. As a follow-up question I was allowed to ask, why do some people have big or strong energy fields? You mentioned before that not too many people have that. Is it merely a choice for an experience or does it have a reason, in our terminology?

And also, how does this relate potentially to softs expressing their power in energy?

ELIAS: How does a large energy field or a strong energy field relate to soft individuals? Is that part of the question? Or how does all of it relate to soft individuals?

MODERATOR: Marij, you may have to unmute yourself. (Pause) The question essentially, to my understanding, if Marij is unable to unmute herself: Softs as an orientation express their power through energy, right? In energy.

ELIAS: Everyone does.

MODERATOR: Okay, but softs in particular, you had previously talked about people of the soft orientation express their power through energy. And so, what you had said in that is connected to the question here.

ELIAS: But what I am asking is, is the entirety of all of those questions being associated or asked about in relation to a soft individual, or is only one part of that?

MODERATOR: Oh. One part of it. That was just a sort of tag on to the… one part of the question. The entirely of the question is not related to softs. Yeah.

ELIAS: Very well. And—

MODERATOR: Marij, can you unmute yourself? (Pause) Maybe not. Go ahead, Elias.

ELIAS: First of all, I would express that none of this applies to a soft individual any more than it would apply to everyone else.

Now, in relation to energy centers and your energy field and becoming more aware of that or using it more, what I would say to you is this is simply a matter of attention. This is a matter of what you pay attention to. And in that, if you are paying more attention to your energy centers and what they are generating – because that is definitely considerably influencing of your energy field, because the combination of all of your energy centers is what actually projects the energy of your energy field.

Therefore, in that, what might prompt you is to be paying attention to what you are doing, although what I would say to you at this point realistically is that it appears to be considerably difficult for most individuals to even be paying attention to what they are doing in the moment, let alone pay attention to what they are doing and then associate it with one or more of their energy centers. But if you can do that, if you actually ARE paying attention to what you are doing in the moment, then you can actually evaluate in relation to whatever it is that you are doing in the moment with which energy center that would be most associated with.

As an example, if you are being considerably emotional in a particular moment, let us say that you are being interactive with another individual and you are feeling defensive, and in feeling defensive you automatically begin to be very emotional in almost flooding feelings, that would be very much associated with the yellow energy center.

Therefore, if you are paying attention to what you are doing in the moment, then you can connect that with what energy center or energy centers (plural) may be involved in what your expression is. Then, in that, you can recognize in the interplay of those energy centers what energy is being projected to your energy field and whether it is extending or whether it is contracting. If you are being defensive, you can be doing both. You can be contracting your energy field, but you can also be using a part of your energy field to project almost a punch of energy outward towards another individual or towards a thing, whatever it is that you are engaging with.

I would express that if you are at a ball game and you are rooting for your team and you are excited and yelling, the energy centers that you are most likely engaging the most are likely your green and your blue energy centers. Therefore, you are projecting an energy from those two energy centers to your energy field, which then is projecting an expression of that energy outwardly.

And all of this, I would express, does very much influence perception. And therefore, yes, that is aiding in creating your reality because it IS influencing of your perception.

Now, in relation to individuals that incorporate what we have identified as a large or a big energy, that generally is expressed in a particular focus, that you as essence are choosing a particular personality type. It is very tied to the personality whether an individual expresses a large energy or not.

And I would express that it isn’t an expression that is limited to leader personalities. Anyone can express that large energy. It is more associated with certain types of personalities that the essence is engaging in any particular focus. It isn’t rare; it merely is not as common. It isn’t expressed by the majority of individuals, and this is the reason that it is considerably noticeable when you encounter an individual that does express a large energy, because most individuals don’t, and especially if the individual isn’t objectively aware of their own projection of energy.

When the individual isn’t objectively aware, let me express to you that could be likened to a racehorse that has no training. It will run all over the track; and in that, it runs hard and fast and powerful, but it has no direction. In that, those individuals’ energy is more noticeable. It is very automatically noticeable, because they likely are bumping into you with their energy field, because they are projecting such a strength in energy and they aren’t directing it.

But as I expressed, that is more associated with a personality than it is with the energy centers and the energy field alone, because all of you have that potential to express a large energy if you are only looking at the energy centers and your energy field, but you don’t express that. It is the personality that interplays with those energy centers and energy field and how it is used together that projects that large energy field.

But I would also express, in all of this, in any of it, none of it is particularly associated with a soft individual or a soft orientation. This is expressed by all individuals. Your energy centers, your energy field, everyone expresses with these centers of energy. And the factor of an individual having a large energy expression is definitely not more so in a soft orientation than any other orientation. I would express in relation to energy centers and energy fields, orientations do not necessarily interplay with that in changing them or incorporating any different influence with them. (Pause)

MODERATOR: Anything else, Elias?

ELIAS: Next question.

MODERATOR: Next question. Our next question comes from Nuno in Carnation, Washington. Nuno, are you there? (Pause) He is almost there. (Pause) Nuno, are you there?

NUNO: Yes, I am. Can you hear me?

MODERATOR: Ah! You’re up.

NUNO: Okay. Thank you. It’s good to talk to you again, Elias.

ELIAS: And you, my friend.

NUNO: Thank you.

MODERATOR: Nuno, before you begin, just so you know, once you… Go through the entirety of your question as others have done, and then I’m going to put you back on mute once the question is done. So, that’s just how it works.

NUNO: Okay. Thanks.

You said that what we imagine is real. How can we incorporate an imagined reality into our normal, objective reality? Can you give us guidance on how to accomplish this? Is it possible to step into an imaginary reality and experience objectively? How would this be done?

ELIAS: Very well.

Now, this is somewhat of a tricky question. Yes, you can step into an imagined reality, because it IS real. And I will express more about that momentarily.

But how can you use imagination in relation to your reality to accomplish more or to generate what you want? I would express that because imagination IS real, it is a tremendous source of information and inspiration.

Now, in that, if you have something that you want to accomplish in your physical reality, you can play with and use your imagination in variations or in ideas that you might think are entirely fantasy but that are entertaining, let us say, the same subject as what you want to create.

In that, it is a matter of looking at what you imagine, looking at how you engage your imagination and allowing yourself to identify the difference between when you do that and when you think about whatever it is in your physical reality that you want to do that you can’t seem to do, because there generally will be a significant difference. When you are imagining, you are much more allowing. You don’t include obstacles. You don’t include significant difficulties. And if you include diversions or challenges, you don’t view them the same. You view them as something to accomplish, something to conquer, something that is almost a game to move beyond. You don’t look at obstacles in imagination as being bad or limiting or that you can’t accomplish with.

Therefore, that is a significant difference. There are two pieces in that. One is feeling, because you do generate feeling in relation to imagination also. Therefore, feelings are expressed in the same capacity with imagination as they are in your objective reality. Therefore, if you feel something, it is a signal, the same. The same as it would be in any other capacity or any other expression. In this, your response to the feelings is different, just as your response to situations and even feelings in dreams is generally different.

Therefore, how you can use imagination in relation to inserting into your reality is it can be an avenue in which it can highlight to you what you are preventing or what you are being hesitant with or what you may be expressing in absolutes in your objective reality.

A very simple, obvious example would be that you can imagine that you and other individuals fly, and you can generate visuals and engage your imagination, and you can be imagining that flight and actually feel the experience and engage fun and exhilaration. And as soon as you move your attention to your objective reality, you immediately move back to that association and that awareness, in a manner of speaking, that that action is impossible. And you immediately express an absolute with it: it absolutely is impossible. It can’t be done.

This can be with anything. It doesn’t matter what the subject is. In that, you can identify the areas or the expressions in which you are expressing an absolute or you are expressing a significant doubt or you are expressing a significant obstacle in your objective, waking reality, and you can look at the difference in the imagination reality and what are you allowing yourself in that expression. And that you can practice with. It gives you information that you can practice with in inserting a different reality into your objective experience.

Now; in relation to the second aspect of this question, can you step into an imagined reality? Yes, you can.

Now, this is the direction that becomes somewhat tricky, because in relation to imagination, because it IS real, you can be engaging and entertaining an imagined reality, and you can do that more and more, and you can actually step into an imagined reality and experience that. And you can do that in the capacity in which you have, let us say metaphorically speaking, one foot in this reality and one foot in another reality, an imagined reality, and you may be partially participating in both, but you aren’t inserting one into the other in either direction. You are inserting yourself partially into an imagined reality and experiencing that, or you are experiencing yourself in this reality, or you are moving back and forth.

Now; you can also step entirely into an imagined reality, but if you do, you leave this reality. You cannot step entirely into an imagination reality and continue to be in this reality. You can straddle both of them, but you won’t be inserting one into the other.

Therefore, it isn’t a matter of “I can imagine a different reality and I want to insert that into my reality.” That isn’t how it is accomplished. You can move into that other reality, which is another dimension. You don’t insert another dimension into this dimension, and you don’t insert this dimension into another dimension. You have boundaries, and they don’t cross.

They can cross momentarily in certain expressions in relation to mass expressions. Therefore, at times there are mass expressions in two different realities, in two different dimensions, that will be being expressed in the same allowance – not necessarily in the same idea, but in the same allowance. And when that happens, then there becomes a type of exchange in which something will materialize from one dimension into the other and the other will materialize something into the other. They exchange. The energy is being expressed in which they cross each other. And you incorporate crop circles, and in their reality they incorporate perhaps an object, a large object. Or you might receive an object, a U.F.O. so to speak, and they will receive some type of phenomenon in their land.

It is not that you take one object or one expression out of another reality and put it into yours; it is a mutual exchange that occurs at times. It doesn’t occur frequently. It occurs actually somewhat rarely. This is not an action that occurs even commonly, even with whatever you can identify in your reality presently that you recognize as a bleedthrough, so to speak — which is one of those exchanges of another-dimensional expression – even if you count them all together, they are very few, and they don’t occur very often at all.

That is not the same. That is a momentary action in which there is a collective on both sides that are generating a very similar allowance, and that creates an opening in those two realities, and that creates that exchange. That is a very different action from moving into another reality or inserting something into your reality.

When you insert something into your reality that is influenced by imagination, what you are doing is you are creating or configuring something yourself that, in a manner of speaking, mimics what you have imagined. It isn’t an actual insertion from another dimension into yours, because when you do that or when it is done, first of all you wouldn’t be doing that from another reality into yours—you would be doing it from your reality into another reality. And when you do that, whatever it is that you insert, it stops existing in the other reality.

Therefore, similar to the plane that disappeared, the people, the plane, the actual physical manifestation, the engines, everything, all of it, disappeared and ceased to exist in your reality any longer. It exists in a different reality.

Therefore, if you step into another reality that you imagine – and you CAN – you cease to exist in this reality. And I would express to you that this CAN happen—rarely, but it can happen with more than one individual. It HAS happened in certain places in your world that the veil of separation is thinner and therefore it is easier to move in that direction, such as your Bermuda Triangle. There are other places also in which it is much easier to do that and therefore it is more frequently accomplished, but even in that it is rare.

In this, you CAN actually accomplish stepping into an imagination reality not alone. You can do it with other individuals if they agree to be participating, but the agreement is more than merely participating to experiment or to investigate. If they are doing that and if you are doing that, then what you are doing is you are straddling two realities. You are experiencing at times in one reality and at times in another, but you aren’t fully moving from one reality to another. If you do that, you definitely – you don’t die in this reality; you cease to exist. You disappear, which is different. Therefore, there is nothing left of you in this reality. It is gone.

Which you can do, if you choose to, but it is somewhat tricky. And in that, I would say to you that you definitely require being fully committed to doing that and no reservation, that this is what you are doing and this is your destination and you have no question about it.

Is that answering your question?

MODERATOR: I think so.

ELIAS: Very well.

MODERATOR: Our next question — we have a lot of popular, apparently a lot of popular questions coming from The Netherlands. Our next question comes from Robert in Cuijk, in Netherlands. Robert, are you there? We’ll let him get connected here. Robert, are you there?

Robert does not have an active microphone, so I’ll ask his question on his behalf.

ELIAS: Very well.

MODERATOR: He says: “How do you create a desired situation like a new job, winning the lottery, etc.? You have told a lot about it, but still isn’t 100%, maybe just like 1% clear at the moment to me.

“With your perception, you should create that situation. This perception mechanism is mainly influenced by your attention and beliefs, as I understood from you. But what should I be doing in mundane, daily activities to achieve that desired situation, as for example winning the lottery? Is that with every activity you do during the day concentrating on abundance and appreciation? So, every small object you want to have, you should immediately buy it without any doubts that you can afford it? Paying bills without worrying about them, etc.? Connecting with that energy of abundance?

“But how do you arrange that the influences or related beliefs like earning money is easy without any effort are affected? As I understand it, there is somewhat of a conflict, right? Between different beliefs. Trusting is also an important aspect. Is that just trusting that you have the power to create that desired situation? I am trying that now for more than twenty-five years, but it probably wasn’t trusting.

"What is the influence of your intent also in this?”

ELIAS: (Pause) I would say that occasionally an expression such as winning the lottery would conflict with a particular intent, but generally speaking, that wouldn’t necessarily be true. It would be, I would say, considerably rare that an individual would express a type of intent that would conflict with some action such as winning the lottery.

But—winning the lottery intentionally, at this point in your development and your evolution, could be considerably challenging, and most individuals are not successful. And the reason for that is that yes, there is a factor of trust; definitely. But it is a matter of WHAT you are trusting that is difficult for most individuals.

The expression of trust is that you are trusting that you are definitely creating EVERY aspect of your reality—EVERY aspect. Therefore, you are creating ALL of the individuals that are involved in the lottery system, you are creating all of the probabilities of that, you are creating every single lottery ticket that is sold, and you are creating specifically that one lottery ticket that you have chosen to be the winner. And you trust all of that, and you don’t doubt it, and you know that this is what you are creating. That would be how you would INTENTIONALLY create winning the lottery.

Let me express to you that at the completion of the insertion of this shift there won’t be a lottery, because there won’t be that idea of chance. And that is what drives the lottery now, is that you HAVE that idea of chance and you believe that idea of chance, that some expressions are a matter of chance, that they are random and that you can’t predict them. That is what you believe en masse now, and I would say to you also that that is what you believe, even if you express to yourself that you don’t believe that. If you didn’t believe that, you would be winning the lottery. But you aren’t winning the lottery, therefore that supports that expression that you DO believe there is an element of chance, that it IS random and that you aren’t the only one that is creating the lottery itself.

This is what drives it. This is what makes it work, in a manner of speaking. It is that en masse, throughout your entire world, you all share that expression of believing—which means you trust, because believing is merely another word for trust—and you make real what you trust. Therefore, you trust that the lottery is an expression of chance, it is random, and that you aren’t creating it alone.

And the other factor in relation to expressions such as the lottery—which the lottery is an excellent example, because there are many expressions in your objective life that are similar or that you associate in a similar manner to this, perhaps not as dramatically but in some capacities. Therefore, it is a very good example.

In this, I would express that another factor that is significantly affecting is how much you concentrate on it, how much you think about it, how much you concentrate on it. And understand: there is a difference between paying attention and concentration. And there is a difference between how much you think about it and how much you concentrate on it, because your concentration is not measured in what you think about or what you are paying attention to. Your concentration is expressed in relation to what you believe. You don’t have to think about it. You don’t have to be paying attention to it.

You believe the sun rises every day. You don’t have to think about it. You don’t have to pay attention to when it rises. You believe it will, and therefore it does, because that is what you trust and that is what you concentrate on. And as I have expressed from the onset, you do create what you concentrate on.

In this, I would express that when you have a subject that you don’t entirely trust, that you do have questions about or that you don’t entirely believe that you are 100% creating yourself alone, then when you want something in relation to what you don’t believe you 100% create alone, you automatically give it more and more and more attention. And you validated that in your question by expressing that you have been playing the lottery for twenty-five years and haven’t won.

Now; in that, you have been concentrating on that for twenty-five years, and it isn’t that you concentrate on it once a year; you concentrate on it every day. And in that, you reinforce that every time you move in the direction of purchasing one of those tickets or more of those tickets.

Let me express to you, generally speaking the individuals that buy lottery tickets every day or every week don’t win. Generally, and it is not an absolute, but generally the individuals that win are randomly purchasing a lottery ticket. They may purchase them more than once, but they don’t purchase them consistently. They purchase them when a feeling strikes them or when an idea strikes them or when they have certain numbers appear in their head, in their terms, and it suggests to them that they should buy a lottery ticket.

In that, the individual isn’t concentrating on winning. The individual isn’t placing that much attention on winning. They are playing the game, and objectively they almost believe that they WON’T win. But they also believe similarly to you that it is random and that it is a game of chance and that there is a possibility that they could win, but they stop thinking about it. They stop paying attention to it. And that is the reason that they are so surprised when it happens, and so excited, because it is a surprise — because they didn’t expect it to happen because they stopped paying attention to it.

I would express to you that in relation to the other subjects that we have been discussing this day—imagination, energy fields, energy centers, being aware—all of these factors are interconnected and interrelated, and they all aid you in being more self-aware. And the more self-aware you are, the more you trust yourself, and the more you move in the direction of expressing the ability to intentionally create your reality, and you don’t doubt it.

I would express that for most of you, at some point in your lives if you genuinely think about it—and it doesn’t mean that it will be some tremendous expression or experience—but each of you likely has a moment that you can recall that you created something that you wanted intentionally, because you knew you could do it, and you didn’t doubt it at all.

And it doesn’t mean that it would be something tremendous. It could be what you think of as some small action, but all of you have some experience if you genuinely allow yourself to recall, in which you have expressed some type of determination to do something and you did it, because you didn’t doubt what you were doing. And in that, that determination to accomplish was your evidence of how much you trusted yourself in that moment. You don’t think about it as trusting yourself, because you don’t need to think about it. Thinking is a translating mechanism. You don’t need to translate when you know something. If you know, you aren’t doubting what you are doing, and you know you will accomplish. You don’t have to think about it. You don’t have to translate it to yourself, because you know.

In this, that is also an indicator that you trust what you are doing. Determination is a tremendous tool, because when you are entirely determined to accomplish something, you don’t doubt yourself. You know you will and nothing will sway you. And in that, because you don’t doubt and you don’t question yourself, you are successful and you do create it.

Therefore, what I would say to you in relation to ANY subject similar to the lottery and including the lottery, when you move to the point in which you are self-aware enough that you are confident that you are creating all of your reality – other people, other things aren’t creating it for you; machines, computers, anything isn’t creating it for you, that you are creating all of the expressions—then you will have the ability to intentionally move in a direction of creating winning the lottery or inserting whatever you choose into your reality that you want to do.

MODERATOR: Thanks, Elias.

ELIAS: You are welcome.

MODERATOR: And I think we have time for what would be our fifth of the top five questions. And it’s from somebody who emailed me and couldn’t be here today. And that question, our fifth top-voted question, comes from Golden in Weston, West Virginia. And I’m going to take the liberty of slightly modifying his question for clarity.

Can you present information on how our perception is affected by non-human objects?

ELIAS: By non-human objects, it would be the same as anything. How is your perception affected by anything? It is affected in relation to HOW you are paying attention to it. Therefore, it doesn’t matter whether it is a human expression or a non-human expression; it is the same. It affects your perception the same, and that is how you are paying attention to it.

Therefore, if you are paying attention to something non-human in an allowing manner, then it will affect your perception in a more flexible expression. If you are being very absolute in how you are paying attention to something, then it will affect your perception to be much more rigid. Therefore, it doesn’t actually matter what the outside source is. What matters is you and how you are paying attention to whatever that outside source is.

Now, if you are paying attention to an outside source and you are allowing yourself the openness to engage that source not in an absolute manner and in the capacity in which I was speaking with individuals at our group interaction, that you are open and you are entertaining the idea or the possibility that whatever it is that you are perceiving there might be more to it, it may be more than you are actually connected with or you are actually allowing, then that can also be very influencing, because it can change what you are perceiving, that you automatically project your perception in relation to what you already believe or what you already have established as associations with experiences.

Therefore, regardless of what the present or new situation or experience is, or regardless of what the object of the outside source is, being human or non-human – it actually matters not – in that, it is a matter of recognizing that you already have influenced your perception in a particular manner based in your past experiences, based in what you have learned, what you have been taught, what you have experienced through your life to that point. All of that influences your perception.

And your perception is already being formed in a moment with all those factors. You are engaging some outside source, and while you are engaging that outside source you are very rapidly accessing all of your information through all of your experiences and all of your memories, and you are projecting a definite perception of what you believe is being expressed or happening.

Now, as I expressed in our group interaction, that is very real – because your perception makes it real – but it may not necessarily be accurate. It may not necessarily be valid, but it is definitely real because you make it real, because your perception projects an energy that creates your reality.

In this, it is a matter of being aware of that—which can be considerably challenging in a moment, depending upon what you are engaging—but in the moment, having the ability to be aware enough to stop and allow for the possibility that there is more being expressed than what you already know in your experiences, that there may be more being expressed that you aren’t necessarily seeing or aware of yet because your perception is moving in somewhat of an absolute manner. And it is being validated definitely in an absolute manner by your senses, because they are feeding back to you in relation to whatever the outside source is, that whatever you projected, whatever you see and hear, that is actually, definitely and absolutely what is happening and what you are engaging.

Now, what I will say to you in relation to perception and your senses and the feedback of your senses, especially I would say with non-human interactions or expressions, you have one outer sense that in actuality in relation to memory is your strongest sense, and it isn’t what you think. Your strongest sense in relation to memory is your sense of smell. That is your strongest sense for association.

Therefore, how can that benefit you in time frameworks in which you are looking for what is beyond what you see? Move your attention to your sense of smell. If you don’t smell anything, there is likely something more occurring than you are actually perceiving or seeing or hearing, that it isn’t as absolute as you think it is. That if you DO engage a scent, if you smell something, then you also know that something in memory is influencing.

I would say to you also, this can be a very useful trick to be aware of when you want to remember something and you don’t think you can. If you are attempting to remember something and you can’t quite connect with it, use your sense of smell and you will generate much more ease in remembering. Smell registers in memory more than any other sense.

But in relation to whether any non-human source is any more or less influencing in relation to perception or how it is interplaying with perception, it doesn’t any more or less. It isn’t about whether it is a human or non-human outside source that you are engaging; it is a matter of what you are paying attention to and how you are paying attention to it.

MODERATOR: All right. Thanks, Elias.

ELIAS: You are very welcome.

MODERATOR: We are a little bit beyond our ninety minutes, so it’s probably time to say any final words, if you have any.

ELIAS: I would express tremendous encouragement to all of you, and I would also express congratulations. These have been well-thought-out questions, and they have been significant questions that indicate that you genuinely are moving in a direction of becoming more aware, more self-aware, and that you are engaging more of your abilities and your reality than you have been previously. And I would congratulate all of you in that.

I express tremendous wonder and encouragement and grace to all of you. And in that, know that I am projecting and engaging my lovingness to you every moment. I shall greatly be anticipating our next meeting. To all of you, in dear friendship as always, au revoir.

MODERATOR: Au revoir.
